Snowboard Workshop

From snowboardings inception in the 60s (then known as 'snurfing'), it has always been a way to have some fun in an alpine environment. We like fun and we like snowboarding so we've built a business around it, subsequently allowing us to give snow equipment a second lease on life.

Snowboard Workshop came from humble beginnings, starting as a small tuning and repairs workshop in the back of NZShred in 1997. Since then we've worked with many other great, local businesses in Queenstown and eventuated into our own space.

We're now located at 17 Shotover Street, Queenstown and have a sibling company at 1088 Frankton Road called SkiHireNZ. We continue to offer our workshop services and have added the sales of retail goods into our business. SkiHireNZ is focused on the rentals sector, providing ski and snowboard hire, snow chain hire and also has a workshop for tuning and small repairs.
